Pangkor

Well, as i mentioned my previous visit to Pangkor which is 16years ago...Pangkor doesn't change much though except blooming hotel and resort industries. I tried to located back the resort that i stayed in Pasir Bogak. Apparently it has changed to new management and new name from Ming resort to Faez Resort.

The sand is still sandy white, more to my surprise, the water is much crystal clear than murky last time. Apart from abseiling which scared the sh** hell of my life, exciting jungle trekking with 60 degree of kecuraman bukit, snorkling with only 2 species of fishes that can be found(dissappointed though), night camp in the jungle with thrilling and eerie sound effect, goosebump and seeing 'special object' that some of my coursemate were damn lucky bumped into, mind drilling kayaking and explorace Pangkor island (aka Amazing Race), what i like most is the refreshing breeze and fresh air that you can't find in KL. Too bad that i can't shop in Pangkor as i sprained my damn ankle again.

But i will definately go back to Pangkor again..

Pangkor

Going to Pangkor in this week. Gonna have some activities there such as jungle trekking, abseilling, snorkelling and so on. I went to Pangkor with my uncle and his brady bunch families members in year 1993 which is way back 16 years ago. Still could remember the nice sea breeze, cycling with my cousins around Pangkor, good taste of seafoods and brought some salted fish for my granny to cook. I hope Pangkor has changed a lot in these years.

**Sigh. It seems that my evaluation pre-appear results in assessment exam today is worst after all. My KBKK (Kemahiran Berfikir secara kritis and kreafif) is not fully use by my HOKI (Hemisfera Otak Kiri) and HOKA (Hemisfera Otak Kanan). My modal storan maklumat is not working properly. Deeply dissappointed with myself. Don't know what's wrong with me. Simplest MCQ question can get wrong?? Simplest calculation for plotting graft also can go wrong??? My Cognitive Level somewhere lost in the woods....

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sigh**** low motivation la!!! Got back this feeling of anxiety again when i was doing tests for my degree (which i hate and difficult subject) such Ecology & DNA. Get C for this subject. Will i get C or D this time??

Exam

Exam..What does exam meant to me? Exam is a form of evaluation process of my study that freaking me out, makes me more tension than my previous job do and countless of hair loss! Its been what 6 years ago did my last exam and left all my learning strategy nothing but just memories behind. Now i need to dig back all my memories back for my coming exam. Need to recall... compile.. process the info.... from short term memory to....input as long term memory... store back somewhere to my.... HOKI(Hemisfera Otak Kiri) or HOKA (Hemisfera Otak Kanan)!!

A shoulder to cry on

Have you ever lend your shoulder to your loved ones or friends when they need someone to confide? R u the one that willing and be patience by listening their problems, tolerate the grumbling and crying part? I remembered the song "A shoulder to cry on" by Tommy Page back in the 90's. Meaningful song. There is 1 close friend of mine calling me in the middle of night at 2am telling me that she wanted to commit suicide due to some problems she is facing. Then tried to sort her things out in rational ways and explained to her eventhought i was extremely sleepy. Finally she went to sleep lorr. So in the end, i felt accomplished yet happy as able to help a friend preventing her from doing 1 wrong step ahead. Lend your shoulder to your love ones and friends if they need it. You don't know when its ur turn back...

Just came back from satay celup gathering with my ex colleagues. How i misses them and not just they are my colleagues, but as my friends which offered help and advise. All like my big sister (as i 'm the youngest) hehe... to all my friends out there, gambatek eventhough the economic slump has greatly affected your lives. There will be greener on the other side one day..

Amulet

Do u know what is an amulet? Amulet is an object that protects a person from trouble, to bring good luck and/or protection to its owner. In Thailand, one can commonly see people with more than one Buddha hanging from their necks. On saturday, i'm having lunch at a coffeeshop and suddenly approached by a Thai monk asking for donation. There is many bogus monks out there nowdays but after i observed him closely, I believe he is a true monk as he walked bare feet and his soles were black as charcoal. He also offered me many kinds of amulets to be sold. He said the each amulet has its own power. There were Jatukam Thai buddha which offers protection, Long Po Kun offered luck and money come, Kun Pen offer charm and luck from opposite gender so on and so forth. Some ppl wear 4 to each 5 amulets around their neck with different power. I didn't buy the amulet from the monk but just donate RM10. For me, i just need protection from Buddha and the one and only amulet i have been wearing brought from Thai temple. For love and money, i believe there is no free lunch in this world and just have to work hard to get it.

Hair Loss (Yikes!!)

Gee... I don't know whether i consume too much instant soup. Started to experience some hair loss. Yikes!! When i washed my hair, a handful of hairs caught in my hand. Perhaps that effect of monosodium glutamate is attacking my hair system..Google some info on hair loss. Found out iron deficiency which i lacked of also contribute to hair loss. Need to start makan more besi instead of instant soup hehe

Soup addict (^_^)

Soup!! i like instant soup. Yummy Yummy Yummy!! You name it. Heinz, Campbell and Vono. I tried each every flavour for each brand. Am i crazy? My favourite is VONO. The soup is sooooo delicious, nice aroma and some flavor comes with potato chunks or mushroom chunks. The taste is more original and creamy compared to Campbell and Heinz. For me, Campbell 3 in 1 got a bit masin and the taste is not ori. But Campbell soup in tin is the best. Heinz normally only. Ahhh....... my best morning is sitting by the window having a cup of creamy soup while watching sunrise...

Other seminar again...

Attended seminar again. This time the seminar is about action research by Dr Jean. The seminar started late. The room is small and packed with mostly Master and PHd students and also nominant UKM lecturers. Listened to the speaker speech for an hour i guess. Frankly speaking i understand the point y we are called to attend the seminar and the benefits of it. But I'm struggling to understand. I personally felt that the words, phrase and the whole research thing that she tried to bring out is merely not suitable for our level. Suits enough for Master and PHd students as they are doing research for their projects. So of coz they understand what speaker trying to bring out. We havent gone through advance research phase so its kinda hard to absord what she said. . The lecturers mostly understood well and having fun coz they went through research phase. Too bad as she is a gd speaker though..

Truth, I went a lot of training and seminar when i was working for past 5 yrs. But i never ONCE experienced my brain struggling to absord and understand what she bring out to us..... no offence yah!

Boring....

No class today. Plan to have lunch with my cou sis but she abandoned me and not free in the end. **Sigh.. So spent the whole day surfing net for Langkawi trip in Nov hehe, doing assignment, checkout my facebook, read news on much publicise politics in Perak and arranging my notes to start studying for sem exam. 2 of my coursemates visited me as they were damn bored in their room too. Chatted for a hour. Damn boring again after they left my room...

Mr Zol is not here..

Our funky Mr Zol is not teaching us today. He just came back from Langkawi. So all of us 'YES!!' (imitating Mr Zol expression).. He asked us to beautified our blog which once again i need..... pls refer to the picture attached... hehe

Yes.. i tried to beautified the blog as i can from the customize section.. Not much compare to my other more creative coursemate.

Ushering for Permata Pintar

Wake up very early today for permata pintar programme in UKM. All class have been cancelled and we need to join the programme to fill up the empty seats. I'm responsible for ushering the students to hall and lab for IQ test. Once again, these students is very clever and active. Quite fun. Like jaga adik kecil. The IQ Test given is quite tough and even some questions i'm not able to answer correctly hehe.. talking about genius...

Love Matters

OOpppppsss.. forget to post up something yesterday. Gomenasai! I went for Chinese movie ; 'Love Matters 'today. A film directed by jack Neo about a revolving 52-year-old uncle who leads a routine life attempts to revive the passion with his wife and their accidental journey in seeking and keeping love and happiness. 2 thumbs up for the movie. Great to watch and funny movie too.

As i was watching the movie, my head is thinking... will i lead the same life as the characters potrays? Will our passion in keeping love and happiness in our marriage will wither once we get old and have childrens or grandchildrens? People always say the key to long lasting marriage is both husband and wife need to tolerate with each other. Perhaps it's happen in old days.. But nowadays in modernization world.. in my opinion,its kinda difficult to apply this theory though...

Am I talented?

Ok. I 'm still not going to blog my Bali trip :p.

Today our English and Assesment class were cancelled and called to attend 1 day seminar organised by UKM and John Hopkins University on Center For Talented Group = GENIUS PEOPLE. Really open my eyes... gee... i 'don't even know thereis a center for genius people exists. I thought they were sent off just like that by their parents to Oxford or Cambrigde or Harvard for advancement in their studies..Very good seminar with 2 professional speakers from the center, Dr Julian and Dr Patricia. Really admired them for their passion and dedications in their research about gifted children.

Meanwhile I' m still scratching my head on blogging.... am i talented? Perhapsssss in another area i guess..... the picture above says it all.. haha

Lonely...

Ok. Today i'm not going to blog about the unsucessful attempt of my Bali Trip that i want to post it yesterday. I need to blog continously 2 weeks for my blog assignment. 2 weeks without any readers here and wondering when is our funky lecturer Mr Zol will start reading my blog. Strangely, in here, i felt like talking to myself..... Hello is anyone out there??? (With the long echo sound effect). So lonely till i can hear AKON song playing in my head.. " lonely, i'm so lonely, all on my own"......singing all the way.

1st time Blogging

Dun know how to say it. First i create this blog for my today assignment. Full of motivation, I post something about Bali trip i went. Kinda long winding post. Full of passion, i loaded the images. Then i click 'publish post'. Then the internet explorer read : Internet Explorer could not open the website. Please check your internet connection. Then i decide to write this instead. Gee.. thanks a lot for the "good internet connection" in my 1st time experience in blogging.
